Mom made it fine through surgery (once they got her in...only 3 hours or so late. She's home resting now. They took our three different lumps and part of a lymph node. However they didn't take as much of the lymph node as they thought they might. We'll get more news monday when I take her into the doctor after I go to my sleep doctor appointment. |

Wish it was about mom but that's next week, (crosses fingers) I just went to the doctor though and I've lost 20 pounds since last Aug. So go me :) |

On my way home from Sakura Con my mom told me she has be diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It's type 0 the smallest form they can actually detect. She goes in for surgery the 19th. Both my brother and I will be taking that day off. She'll start radiation treatment after she's done with her school year. With luck she won't have to do kemo, so cross your fingers!

I got a car today. A 1995 Ford Taurus, that looks almost excatly like my moms. It has just over 100,000 miles, runs good, in good shape no wrecks. So next time I come over to Cheney (a week from Thursday night if all holds to plan) I'll be driving my own car! |

| Life in the fast lane |

Well it's been a fun couple of weeks. I've saw the doctor two weeks ago so hopefully I'll be being set up with a dietican and a phyiscial therapist. I've been on prozac for over a week now, I have to say I'm getting more side effects this time.
Mom's getting a 7k settlement from L&I from when she was hurt on the job so she's going to buy herself a nicer car and I'll buy her car, which is pretty nice allready, from her. SO yay. That means hopefully labor day weekend I'll be out to Cheney. |

Well, I did it! I found a new job! Sadly it's not in the greater Spokane area so I won't get to move back to Cheney this year. But, it's in the same school that my brother works in, one on one with an autistic student, 6.5 hours a day (half an hour more then my old job) for $12.50 an hour ($2.20 more an hour then my old job) and I get to shave 60 miles a day off my round trip commute! |

So, we're redoing the basement. I've got a new to me computer desk, new to me TV, Trever and I work and set everything up. I sit back to watch a little Serenity, and...the dvd player doesn't work anymore. *grumbles* Looking foward to going to Cheney this weekend! |
